On the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales and admitted to the New York Bar, Régis Bonnan holds a double-law degree in English and French laws from the University of London (King’s College London) and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as a Master’s degree in international law from the University of Geneva and an LLM in American law from the School of Law of Duke University (magna cum laude).
He developed his skills in international arbitration and litigation with both international law firms (Lévy Kaufmann-Kohler, Eversheds Sutherland) and litigation funders (Omni Bridgeway, Profile Investment). He is a consultant for Profile Investment since 2021.
Régis teaches English business law at Kedge Business School (Paris) and European law at ESSCA School of Management (Paris), is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London, and is the author of a series of publications on arbitration and international trade. He now specialises in hotel-related litigation and research, with special emphasis on hotel management contracts, franchises, leases and joint ventures.
